Dear residential school Survivors, NWT Art Centre Initiative staff, board, partners, and project consultants, government, former educators and administrators of Akaitcho Hall, and community supporters and friends of all ages, 

Please join us on October 1, 1-3pm at the former location of Akaitcho Hall (empty lot next to Sir John school) to bless the Land, gather in community, and start the work towards a new art gallery on the site. 

This will be an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather. There will be tents available on site to warm up, if needed. 

On site wellness support will be provided by Dene Wellness Warriors.
